Boy Scouts, Rainbow Council
The Boy Scouts Rainbow Council is a youth program that was established in 1910 for boys, grades 1 through 12 and a Venturing program, including girls ages 14-21. The program was designed to instill values in young people and prepare them to make ethical choices in life. Scouting emphasizes outdoor experiences and self-achievement through rank advancement and career exploration while learning in the merit badge program.
