Hospice of Kankakee Valley, Inc. provides compassionate physical, emotional, spiritual and social support for persons living with terminal illness and their families. They provide comprehensive comfort care, bereavement follow-up (open to anyone in the community suffering a loss), equipment, medications, supplies, nursing, social services and volunteer support. Palliative Medicine Consult service for pre-hospice pain and symptom control, advances care planning and coordination of care are also provided. Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance are supplements by community contributions.
