The First 1,100 Days Summit

November 10th 10:00-12:00PM - The First 1,100 Days Summit - Presented by Dr. Pacione-Zayas of the Erikson Institute

The experiences children have in their first three years play a major role throughout their lives. Providing positive experiences in the early years can lead to higher academic achievement, better health, and greater overall well-being later in life. Dr. Pacione-Zayas will provide  an overview of how the brain develops. She illustrates the relationship between positive early experiences and the communities, schools and homes where children spend their time. Research has shown that children with more positive experiences in life do better in school and even live longer on average. REGISTER HERE.
