Board Spotlight: Kevin Hack

Kevin Hack has been a member of the United Way Board of Directors for five years. His presence on our Board has been especially appreciated thanks to the insights he brings as an Iroquois County resident and his perspective as a local leader in the healthcare field. With an impressive resume of community involvement, we are extremely thankful for Kevin's continued support of United Way and our community.

About Kevin Hack

Kevin Hack is the Director of the EMS System / Ambulance Services for Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee, Illinois. Mr. Hack joined Riverside in 1988 as a paramedic and has risen through the ranks Director of Ambulance / EMS System.

Kevin received an Associate’s degree in Agri-Business from Kankakee Community College. He also received a Bachelor of Applied Science in Business and a Master’s in Organizational Leadership from Olivet Nazarene University.

Prior to joining Riverside, Mr. Hack worked in Agri-Business. Kevin has been an EMT / Paramedic for 38 years, and retired as an Illinois Certified Firefighter after 28 years. Mr. Hack is a retired Captain of the Ashkum Township Fire Department, past president of the Northern Illinois EMS System Coordinators Association, past member of the Iroquois County 911 Board, past member of the Illinois EMS Advisory Committee and has served on many other EMS related committees for Illinois including the Illinois EMT Association.

Currently, Kevin is a member of the Kankakee Community College EMS Program Advisory Board, a member of the MABAS 7 and MABAS 37 Fire Chiefs Associations, past president of the Watseka Kiwanis Club, Vice President of the Central Unit 4 Board of Education and a member of the Watseka Masonic Lodge 466.
