Board Spotlight: Tami Galbreath

Tami GalbreathHow long and in what ways have you been involved with United Way?

I was a founding Member of Women United and joined the United Way board this summer, where I serve as the Women United Committee chair.

What aspect of United Way's work excites you?

Women United and the money we raise for women and girls in our community along with their Kindness projects. I also get really inspired by all the local agencies that serve within our community and realize how much our fundraising through United Way helps them.

What inspired you to become involved with United Way?

There are so many needs within the community. As I became more active in the community, I knew this was great place for me to be involved. Mariah and Melina inspire me with their hard work and passion for the mission. I know as one person I am a small piece of the puzzle. The more people who are involved, the more our community benefits.
