BOARD BOOTCAMP TRAINING PROGRAM
Calling On Emerging Local Leaders
Board Bootcamp is set to return this summer! This training will be hosted in four sessions, every Wednesday morning in August (the 5th, 12th, 19th, & 26th) from 8:30-10 AM at Adventure Commons - 70 Ken Hayes Dr, Bourbonnais, IL 60914.
This program is designed to equip professionals in Kankakee and Iroquois Counties with the skills and knowledge to serve effectively on nonprofit boards. This training was not designed for nonprofit staff, but those interested in learning how to develop good board members are welcome to attend.

Board Bootcamp will cover diverse aspects of board service, broken down into simple and easy-to-understand sections. Attendees will hear from current nonprofit board members, network with community leaders, and learn how they can best contribute to the enhancement of our local nonprofit organizations. Cost per-participant is only $50 for all four sessions.

Board Bootcamp is a joint initiative of United Way and the Community Foundation of Kankakee River Valley. Our goal is to strengthen Kankakee and Iroquois Counties' nonprofit leadership, engage fresh voices in board service, and build a strong foundation for participants’ community engagement and impact.
